Default Lexus TX350 hitch

After everyone saying that there was not hitch for this car, I ordered the Curt 13519 hitch or the same for the Grand Highlander and it fit like a glove. I boughted in Amazon for $250 bucks and it took 20 minutes to install.

Thanks for sharing your findings, this is such a great way to add the towing package for a much more affordable price. Has everything been holding up well so far? Is there easy access to the related wiring that could also be needed for a trailer?

Everything has been working perfectly. I don't use lights so I know, but it can't be that of a problem. A hitch place can figure it out quickly, I would think.

Wiring is most likely either accessed by another connector or is tapped into the tail light wiring. It cannot be that complicated, however you need to know what to look for and then figure out a way to connect it and make some weather tight connections. I wouldn't be surprised if the factory has a connectorized way of wiring in the trailer light connector.

And if you want the OEM, I believe the part# is Pt725-48241 "Relay Assembly Lamp Control"

Maelo,
Your thread referenced Curt 13549 but your video referenced Curt 13519. I don't see 13549 and want to make sure it is indeed 13519.

Rookie, thanks for bringing this my attention, I fixed it. It is 13519 as you proved.
Good to hear and I am glad it helped.

thanks for the advice and suggestion
it took me a little longer because I used a jack to lift myTX 500H due to the only torque wrench I have is about 18 inches long and I didn’t have enough clearance also I did it solo
i did used a bungee to hold one end while I worked on the other
i bought my from Trailerjacks.com, it included the wiring harness and I got free shipping to Hawaii
for $350
amazon is a good choice
lexus dealer tried to sell me the rear bumper cover claiming that the hitch wouldn’t fit and I needed the opening. They are wrong, it fits just fine
does anyone have a video of how to attach the wire harness.
is the plug inside the driver’s side rear cup holders ?? By the third row
