Can you use wider tires on same wheels?
Hi guys, so I have a 2016 IS 200T F-Sport and I'm using the stock wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The original tire sizez are Front 225 / 40-18 Rear 255 / 35-18
My question is can I get a wider tire for this stock wheel for 18"? Like I want to have a 235 width in the Front and 275 width in the Rear? Can anyone explain? thanks really appreciated.
And what are the pros and cons for using wider tires on stock wheels?

You can, check the tire spec for the range of rim widths that the tire is compatible with before ordering. To maintain speedometer accuracy you'll want to try and remain with a similar diameter tire. A larger or smaller diameter tire will alter the speedometer reading.

Probably, but as mentioned, need to maintain the diameter. Going with a wider tire is essentially called a +0 upgrade; there are websites that lists these possibilities (I know of one TR Competitor that does this).
