how do you fit OEM 2GS 17" wheels on a car that came with 16's??
Ok, I have a 98 2GS... just got it. Its cherry!! I love it. My car came with the normal 5 spoke 16" rims. However, I love the 5 spoke 17's in chrome that came on the GS400 of the same year .....like these:

But those 17's don't seem to fit according to the chart. I guess it's because they are 50 offset. they have the same bolt pattern though. So how do you get them to fit?

If you're simply changing the a 16" OEM wheel with a 17" OEM wheel of the same year, it is a direct fit. All you would need to do is change the tires size to 235/45R17 or 245/45R17. The offsets may be different by a few mm but that is only because the 17" wheel is wider. The original 16" had a 50mm offset so diff is only 5mm or 0.196".
