Default Bulging?

What happened there? Over inflated? 285.25.20 @ 35-37 PSI. I did hit potholes before on that tire and I also had it patched once due to a nail. How bad is it to run another couple hundred miles on this tire? I wasn't aware of this until I took it off to test fit a spacer. I am going to try to get this replaced ASAP but please tell me the reasons of this.

Thanks

Looks like a crappy FK452 with tire bubbles. Those bubbles will grow and you'll get a blowout.

FK452's were made to be stretched, but this always seems to happen when you stretch them. I would go with a different tire the next time around.

Were you going for a stretched fitment? I was planning on putting on FK452's but now I don't know..

I dont think it's that stretched... people usually go 275/30. I am at 285/25.

What's the width of your wheel? FK452's have weak sidewalls so when you hit potholes they break and bubble up. Others reported that it happens due to improper mounting. I've concluded that they just suck.

It actually looks like the tire was damaged upon installation... I would have it taken off the wheel and inspected - my bet is that there is some deformation of the bead at that area - if there are any tears, then it is installer fault - if no tears, and it is still doing that, then defective tire...

I am running 20x10 with the tires. I did have a nail in that tire and I got it patched from the inside. So maybe he didn't install it right after? Well either way the tire is toast.

Got new tires. They said it looks like it was running low on air and hit a pothole. But that's weird because I check my pressure every day or every two days and never has it gone under 34psi.

When you run reinforced tires it's a good idea to run it 5-6psi more than average.
