ok im waiting for me iforged rev II's to come in and i ve been tire shopping and need to purchase very very soon. the sizes im thinking of running are 235/30/20 F and 275/30/20 R. ive searched the forum and this seems to be the ideal size, also toyo t1r seems to be the ideal brand, are there other nice brands out there ive also seen this size in nitto, kuhmo, and yokahoma but i dont think i want that! please help if you have any advice with the sizes, prices, and brands, i do plan to drop and im running 20's!

Hi! Congratulations on the purchase of the wheels, the I-REVs are very nice! In terms of the tires, I would advice you go with 245/30/20 front and 285/25/20 rear to avoid rubbing issues. The tires will run just a slight lower than the ones you mentioned and will decrease rubbing issues to almost none
I purchased the Toyo T1-Rs and they are a great set of tires! I highly recommend them. My set cost me approximately $1,150.00.

falken's will run you couple hundred cheaper at least. I looked into the toyos too but if your not racing etc... They are going to run out way too fast and I dont' see spending the dough if you don't need good tires go cheap and cheap is still a G. They also are good for anyday driving not loud either.

It really depends on your offset, but I wouldn't follow the advice of the guy a few up there. A 275/30/20 will *not* rub as long as your wheels aren't out too far (like mine), but a 245 front on a 20in tire might, also to keep a close to stock wheel size ratio you'd need to do around a 235/30/20. I think the main reason people go with a 245/35/20 or 245/30/20 is it opens up the selection of brands greatly. I love my bridgestone pole positions personally, but they're a bit heavy per wheel, best bang for the buck though I feel. For about twice (slightly exaggerated) the price you can get the same handling on a 2-4lb lighter tire going with Michelin pilot sport PS2's
The only tire listed on rack that I'd recommend that has that size would be Continental ContiSportContact 3.

From what ive heard, the guys that sold me the rims are recommending me go with 245/30/20 front and 285/25/20 rear, instead of the 235/30/20 front and 275/30/20 rear he also stated certain brands to avoid, because they may cause rubbing due to their production. Don't know if that's true or not, but I'm away from my home computer so i cant tell you the brands, but ill post the details when i get home!

Well i'll tell you that Generals run really wide. So a 275 is going to be more like a 285 on most other tires. I'd go with a 275/25/20 with the General UHP. They are cheap and very nice tires.

I run the 452's too and I really like them. Width depends too, what widths are the wheels? By the way those prices are insane Discount tire has the Falken 452's in the following sizes at these prices plus free shipping.
235/30/20 for $151.00 each.
245/30/20 are $165.00 each.
275/30/20 for $242.00 each.
285/25/20 for $308.00 each.
