Default Looking for some rims

I'm going 18" so that I don't break the bank. I'm looking at these.

HP evo staggered.
Front Size: 18" x 8.0"
Rear Size: 18" x 9.0"
Offset +38

or these

Will they fit? What do you think?

18 inch wheels with a lip appear to be the same size as non-lip 17'inch wheels imo. Since youare concerened about price, you can get some new 19 inch wheels for the same price as those HP's on Ebay..Brands like Ruff Racing and Status

buying wheels is one thing, buying tires is another
buying 18's and tires is a better option if u don't want to break your bank

yea man, 18's are not going to do it for you in the long run unless you really want them, plus you can go 8x5 in the front and 10 in the rear with no problems a GS suspension is very resiliant and will eat up 20's like candy..how much are you willing to spend and what is your location? also becareful with 3 piece rims, they are very weak in design and are very suceptible to rough roads..

Lexmenow: 19's is probably the minimum size you should go on a 2GS if you're not looking for race-oriented wheels and 20's is probably the maximum size you'd want to get. If you decide to go with 19's, General Exclaim UHPs are great tires for your money.

It's totally the opposite. 3 pc. wheels are usually forged if not all forged. Also, forged wheels are much stronger and resilient than cast wheels but not by any means unbreakable. If you are referring to the wheels he posted, it is not 3 pc., just 3 pc. style.

Thanks for the help. I'm saving up for my e39 M5 thats why I'm worried about cost. Also the Lex will become my wifes car. She wants some rims on it. I will look at those links. Again thanks.
