wheel offset masters: help plz
So when my car got into a small accident, I took the liberty of getting the rear fenders pulled (among other things ) while the car was in the body shop.. I have some 19x10 +15 wheels for the rear, but no tires. i put them up for sale since i figured i could go with a lower offset now. I test fitted racinstyle's rear rim which is a 19x10 +26 with a 265/30. From the edge of the lip to the inside edge of the fender was about .5 to .75 inches. The way the pull was done, its a little thicker on the inside bc of some fiberglass to reinforce it.. But anyway, i was wondering because of the fitment, should I now keep my 19x10 +15? or sell them and get something more agressive? Will it look and fit right?

keep the wheels u want and just spacer them out. i just bought some of these

hope they end up fitting, after the spacers, im gonna be 18x9 +10 in front and 18x9 +0 in the rear
they're hubcentric and they come with extended studs to replace ur stock shorties, i havent heard of any problems with these spacers, and they're praised alot on 240 forums.

what kind of rims do you have with the 10j +15? Why don't you try some 10mm spacers and see if you like it. After that you could either go 2 ways, keep the rims and spacers or sell them both and pick up a new set of rims according to your preference when the spacers went on...seem feasible?

a 10 inch wide wheel with a +26 can fit underneath a stock fender with just the inside lip rolled. Since you have fenders that are actually pulled out a big do with a much smaller offset for sure. get the lip of the wheels right out to the endge of the fender
how thick is the inside lip??? ( from the fiberglass) is it that big that it totally takes away the benifit of the pulled fender? I guess that could be the limiting factor here?

i think you should keep it... you wheels should be out another 11mm compared to his. and half an inch is like 12.something mm.
i think it would look pretty good... i mean if not its so close you can always get a small spacer if you want it out more.
but if you have time and money. sell those and get what you really want...
with that pull of yours i figured you can go hella wide

x10 +15 would bring it pretty close to the edge.. but i want a pretty agressive stance

not to hijack the thread but since its asking advice of wheel offset....i heard to stay away from wheel spacers, mostly if you hit the track with your car. for my '92 SC what offset would i want to set the rim flush with the fender? ide like to get a set of 18" volks and want them right on the edge, and without a spacer.

If the spacers are hubcentric, he'll be ok, track or street.
Personally, I'd sell the wheels and get a more aggresive set. You can get a bit more lip and better stance with that pull on there. I'd go 18x11+19ish....in fact, that's what I have on the rear of my car with pulled fenders.
