i just put on aftermarket wheels for my IS250 and the tpms did not fit. have anyone ran into this problem? i have read about spare tire trick for other vehicles, does that work for lexus? what about belts that go around the rim to hold down the sensors? please help as i am annoyed by this warning light.

you can get these metal bands that go around the rim if you want to affix the stock TPS sensor on your after market rim if it doesnt attach with the valve stem. Also I think that spare tire trick would work also but what if you really need your spare? are you really going to have 4 TPS sensors in your spare tire LOL.

Another option is put a peice of black tape over that light so you dont see it.

i plan to do the spare tire trick. i wont be needing the spare as the spare my screw up the ride if i ever put it on. if i do take long trips, i will pack one of the original wheels.
as for the black tape, that may work for toyota, or honda, but not lexus or bimmers, or other luxury brands.
