Default Tire size for my LS400

A buddy of mine got me some 235/45/18 tires. IM thinking about putting them on my 1991 LS400. Will they fit? Do I need to buy a certain 18in size (Diameter) wheel. Thanks

Tirerack configurator recommends 18 x 8 and 18 x 8.5 with 235/40/18.

235/45/18 is 0.9 inch larger than 235/40/18 in diameter. When you speedometer shows 60MPH, you are actually traveling at 62.2 MPH
