Issues lowering my AWD gs350
Hey guys, im new to the forum (made my account today) so please bare with me.. I have a 2011 lexus gs350 awd and i took it to a local shop this week to have my tanabe df210s finally installed. (they’ve been sitting in my dining room for months waiting til after winter to put them on) After 2 days with my car, the shop tells me that the springs are not compatible with my car. The back springs went on perfectly fine but the issue was with the front springs. the front looked like it barely dropped an inch while the back was dumped. the guys told me it was an issue with the “ride height adjustment sensors” or something that prevented the front from going any lower. The part looks like a small rod. Apparently it’s too big and a smaller one would need to be “custom made”. I was confused as i had seen many members in this forum who got the same springs on an awd gs with no issues besides the infamous wobbles/vibrations which gave me the confidence to do the same. Has anyone else had this same issue? Does the shop just not know what they are doing? They’ve now had my car for 5 days and I already paid 700 for the failed installation. Guys any help would be greatly appreciated Im on the verge of tears typing this😭. Thanks
