Default What is the most comfortable lowering option?

I have a 2015 GS 350 F Sport with 77k miles lowered on Swift Springs and stock AVS shocks. The ride is decent but I think that the stock shocks are getting worn down, the ride is beginning to get crashy. I want to keep the drop I have with the Swift Springs but I want to improve the ride quality. This is my Wife’s car, it’s a commuter, no track time. I just want a super smooth highway cruiser. What’s the best way to achieve this? Custom coilovers or replace the OEM shocks and keep the Swift Springs?

I'm running the Tein Flex AVS coilovers and I'd say the ride feels stock.

Upgrading to coils will provide the best ride. If the height is too low you can always adjust it to the desired ride height.

Or if you wanted to keep everything the same, you can just buy OEM shocks again.

What do you recommend for coils? I’m not going to go any lower than what it is now.

Coilovers but not the Revels. They're too low for what you're looking for even though they're advertised for comfort.

Wow, that red is really spectacular!
I'm running RSR Best*i Active Coilovers on my '15 F Sport. Absolutely love them. Ride is very comfortable. You can adjust the ride height and damper ratings to your desire. Bonus it is compatible with AVS, you won't lose anything. Tein, Revels, CKS are other coilover options.

All the coils you order are going to be lower than what you have now. But you have the option to raise it back up since they're coilovers. I would say RSR that is AVS compatible is a great coilover for daily driving and comfort!

i would definitely keep stock struts with swift springs if you want comfort. The guy with tein coilover said it’s like stock so keep what you have because I bet the swift springs drive better than stock. Once you replace all struts it will feel like brand new again. I find them dirt cheap from Arizona Lexus

Tried to google if a base model 2013 GS has AVS... I get the feeling it doesn't and that AVS is an optional feature for the F-sport?

I have the same car and I went went with the RS-R active coilovers so I would not have to worry about shock failure a year down the road. I love the ride!
