Question Can anyone help?

Hi guys, I'm new here and I was hoping someone can help me.

I have a 2013 GS350 F-Sport and I recently bought slotted and drilled rotors for both the front and the back, in-addition to new brake pads from Stoptech.

Since I've installed them, whenever I reach the 50MPH ranged my entire car shakes and it does NOT happen all of the time, most times it runs perfect.

I took it back to the mechanic and he double checked everything and all seems fine. He said he followed the directed on the instruction manual and the slots are on the way it should be.

Has anyone experienced this problem before, and if so, can you help?

Thanx in-advance.
Flex.

Could be literally tens of things wrong with your suspension. You should get your car thoroughly inspected at a dealership, most people on the forums won't be able to diagnose the issue. Checkup is free, go for it.

i think the brakes were not properly bedded in when installed.
they need to be bedded, going from a high speed to a low speed a few times to get rid of the surface coating and properly distribute the pad material to the rotor. google for actual steps on how to do this properly.
contrary to what people believe, vibrations on the brakes are not caused by "warped" rotors but usually the uneven distribution of the pad material onto the rotor surface when applying the brakes.

if you are experiencing a vibration at speed when NOT pressing on the brake, then the rotors or wheels are not balanced properly!
what brand rotors did you go with?

make sure the wheels are bolted onto the car securely.

Thank you for your response, yes, the wheels are on properly....

I bought StopTech Rotors and Brakes.

Past few days everything seems ok, so I hope maybe it was the bedded problem??

I'll update you guys should the problem solve.

stoptech is good quality so you should be ok.
yes as you use the car you are bedding the brakes albeit not as fast as doing the actual steps.

Might have been the pads not needed or in right, glad to hear it’s good now.
