RSR Downs: Minimal drop, can't speak on ride quality. For the money, the amount of drop doesn't seem worth it to me.

RSR Super downs: Maximum drop on springs but at the expensie of ride quality.

Tanabe NF210: Superb drop, close to stock ride quality (maybe 5% stiffer than stock). Some people have said this setup is bouncy but this is what I'm on now and I don't think it is at all.

Another option is Swift

I saw in the Aftermarket Wheel thread some liked the ride/drop, stating the Tanabe's were too soft causing rubbing (with 20's)
I'm still researching myself...

I have been back and forth over this for a long time. Coilovers vs. Springs, if springs, what springs...I finally said F-it and ordered the tanabe's after seeing jarabanos ride last week and asking him a few questions. I have a lot of experience lowering cars and by far this has been the hardest car to determine what to lower on.

I'll be picking up my Tanabe's tomorrow and installing them on Friday or Saturday...i'll let you know my opinion then.

Good luck with the install! Hope you're able to get the lower drop in the front and not the back!

I really want the Tanabes, but I didn't research it well and ordered the RS-R Down.Don't know what to do,the sellers wants 25% restocking fee May I can sell and purchase the Tanabe, because I heard the ride is ruff on RS-R.Correct if wrong.

Swift Springs are a very popular choice for our GS customers.

One customer just picked up a set of Swift Springs and is going to do a proper photoshoot with a very well known wheel company, coming soon.

What a coincidence...

I have the Tanabes and am thinking of going to the RS-R Downs or J5 coils. LOL

I read somewhere on the Forum you where able to get the front lower than the rear with your Tanabe Springs, could you confirm if so and how?

Default RSR's

I had RSR i-Best coil overs on my GS, it rode very comparable to stock, a little stiff on really good bumps, but otherwise in the weeds and for riding so low, it handled great, looked bad *** and was my daily driver. BTW the wheels and suspension are for sale, I am turning in the car to Lexus next week in stock form.
Video of my car here:
