Default Lowered on Tanabe NF210s + Custom Spacers! (PICS)

Wanted to share some pics of my 4GS lowered on Tanabe NF210s now that the spring have settled. I'm very happy with how this turned out. This is how the car should have come from the factory.

Thanks to Kevin and the rest of the 168 Motoring team. Best prices on the springs and labor by far. If you're in Socal I highly recommend giving them your business.

Picking up H&R spacers (15mm front and 20mm rear) tomorrow and getting them installed later this week to flush out the wheels.

Totally agree...this is how the GS should have come from the factory...I think this is the first 4GS lowered on NF210's that doesn't look lower in the rear.

Post up pics when you get those spacers on...looking forward to seeing that.

Beautiful car thus far!

Thank you and yes I was a little worried about that lower rear issue. Wonder what that's all about and why I didn't get that. Funny thing is now that it's lowered I notice the "Lexus Lean" a lot more than I did before. lol. Spacers are getting installed tomorrow so I will post pics!

Car looks really nice. I agree this is the way the F-Sport should have come. I have same springs on mine and the ride quality is not too bad.

Always loved the way Tanabe lowering springs brought the car to the best height.

Thanks man! I agree I think it's pretty close to stock which is what I was aiming for.

Thank you! I asked the installer the same question and he said it really wasn't necessary.

It's really the perfect spring set because the drop looks aggressive and ride quality is only marginally sacrificed. I'm very happy with these.

Cars don't "bounce" when they are lowered properly...that was more of a problem in the 80's and 90's when folks use to heat up stock springs with a blow torch and press down on the car lol.

With technology the way it is, there are kits made today that can lay an entire frame of your car on the ground (i know our cars are unibodys) and still be drive-able. Linear and progressive-rated springs also make an impact on suspension choices these days. Depending on what you're going to be doing (daily driving the car, road-coursing, drifting, etc.) will determine the best springs, or coilovers, to choose. There are even springs/coilovers kits made now for people that do all of those and still daily drive the same car.
