Default 450h Struts

I'm in need for new struts, shocks, whatever they are called. All 4 are leaking and I need them replaced. I have a 450h and need OEM struts that will work with AVS. I have searched the interwebs and cannot find a direct answer. Please give me part numbers or something so I can order them. If you have cheaper or better solutions, I would love to hear them. I know that the 450h has different struts/shocks because of the extra weight in the back.

Thanks in advance

You should call Lexus with your VIN number. There are few to none after market parts made for the 450h, especially on the suspension side.

My car is a 07 450h w APSSS and AVS the rear uses
shock 48530-
Spring 48231

You want to be sitting down when they tell you the cost..

Does anyone know how to install the rear struts? I believe the hybrid battery gets in the way

not really. Go through the trunk and remove the carpet to expose the batteries. Your gonna need a swivel socket but other then that access is pretty clear.

There's a little elbow shaped leaver that has to be removed when you dropped your rear suspension. This is often reattached with the bend going in the wrong direction. There is a good write up somewhere on this forum.
