after hours and hours of reading vague and completely different reviews, i'll just ask for some suggestions... im looking for a nice even subtle drop that wont cause any rubbing. i will be getting a set of vossens early next year and can't stand wheel gap.
could any of you that currently have or have had any set of springs that are currently offered for the GS F Sport give some insight on how they are/were for you, along with a set of plus's and negatives you may have encountered..
I have Tanabe's installed on my FSport and love them. Still have stock wheels and have experienced no rubbing. The springs have given that subtle drop you're looking for with the ride comfort being unaffected.
^ Tire size, wheel widths, offsets etc. If you go with vossens 20x9 20x10.5 you should be fine with a 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 tire size. Hankook V12s are decent tires, flipable and light on the pocket
I had the same concerns as you, and finally decided on the Tanabe's and I couldn't be happier. I actually think the car rides better than it did stock, even on a 4 hour trip the car was extremely comfortable on normal mode. On Sport + the car feels a bit stiffer but I love it, less body roll, less floaty over bumps. The drop is nice on stock F-Sport wheels and with 20s there should be virtually no gap. I also have not experienced any rubbing, even with 4 people in the car and luggage in the trunk.
