Default Lowering with Springs

My 06 GS is at a pretty good ride height, and recently just thinking to lower it with Tein springs for abt 1.4In at front, and 1in at the rear.

can anyone share your lowering experiences? i need to know how much lowered will still let me enjoy a ride height, where i dont have all my bottom of the bumper all scratched up.
