Default lowering spring suggestions

Hey guys, I'm new to the Lexus game. I just bought a 2011 GS350 and want to do a few mods. I think I have the wheels picked out which are either the Vossen 82s or the Niche Touring IIs. 20s, staggered. Now with that I have to go a bit lower to get the right stance. I know that lowering the car with aftermarket springs is going to change the ride but what spring will keep it as close to factory as possible? I read that F-sport and Megan EZ coils are good but I don't know if there is anything better. Am I looking for a 1 inch drop or more? I see a lot of coil mods in peoples signature blocks but nothing as far as how much they lowered it. I'm open to other options such as coil over’s but I'm thinking springs as a first option. Only reason I'm looking for a comfortable ride is because the wife is driving the car daily. Again the car is a 2011 RWD
Thanks!
J

I also hear that the Tanabe NF210 springs are probably my best bet. Where is a good vendor that I can buy these from?

F-sport and Tanabe NF are done by tons of members who want a nice conservative drop.

The VVS 082 looks lovely with the 3GS!

There are Vossen dealers on this site, check out the marketplace or fill this form out.

it all depends on what you are looking for. springs can provide near factory ride, but so can coilovers. so it all depends on how much you're willing to spend and how low you want to go. cost effective solution: go with tanabe nf210 springs for stock ride. nf210 lowers approx. 1.3" front, 0.9" rear. if you want to go lower and have closer to stock ride, coilovers or air suspension is what you want. of course, it costs more money to go this route (esp. air suspension).

you can try carson toyota or nigel jdm parts (both are approved CL vendors here).

tanabe nf210 springs ride very much like stock. double blind test, you are not going to notice a difference between stock and nf210 ride quality.

I have an 06 GS300. If I was to use the nf210, would it void my Lexus extended warranty? I have stock 17" tires and rims. Would the car handle any better with these springs and would I need to worry about the alignment specs after? thanks!

it shouldn't void your extended warranty, just the item what you replaced won't be covered (ie: the oem springs for nf210 springs). but if you are concerned about your warranty being affected, talk to your service advisor and ask.

your car should handle a little better after spring install; it is recommended to get alignment done after about 3 weeks of driving.

you got the correct tire size (ie: they are in spec). only reason you are rubbing is because your wheels have an aggressive offset, which gives rubbing issues.

20x9 +38 offset and 20x10.5 +45 It doesn't looks like it's rubbing much, infact I may be able to get away with just removing that rubber trim. I'll find out on Sat what I got to do

strange...your offset is same as mine, you should have no problems with rubbing (i have no rubbing issues at all with the same offsets).

edit: well my front is 20x8.5, and rear is 20x10. so your wheel size is 0.50" wider than mine for both front and rear. that could be a factor, but not 100% sure.
