Default replacing shocks,,

anyone replace their shocks after putting springs for few years??,,read somewhere shocks wear out quicker because of lower springs,,is this something i have to look out for in the near future??

i know struts wear out quicker since lowering springs cause them to be more compressed than they normally should be. not sure about how much sooner you need to replace them as opposed to if you were on stock springs though. it'll depend on how aggressively you're dropped.

yea theres no set mileage on when struts go out. obviously lowering springs decrease the life of the strut/shock because as mentioned the strut/shock is more compressed which means it has less room to rebound.
