Megan Coilovers with UAS
Hey guys,
There questions about if the Megan Coilovers would work with UAS and I've search around and couldnt really find much. I stopped by the shop while they were working on my car this past week and took a few snap shots. They werent done with the rear suspension yet since we are still waiting on some Plates to be made.
As some of you already know. UAS offer plates for the 3GS so that way you can have a smooth install for the coilovers with the plates they offer. If you dont have access to a welder, then you may want to get it professionally installed.
Here is the Front. With the top and bottom plates installed.

I took the bag and slipped it in since they are still waiting on the plates to come in in addition to the 3" spacer for the top.

Dam so you have to ruin a set of coilovers to make it work how much were they. With buying the UAS kit and the coil over how much are you into it along with having the shop install everything I'm guess somewhere in the neighborhood of 5-6k?
Blacksedan: hahaha I had to wear something.
Swtjlsy: The reason why I went with this setup is because.. I want to go really low and the stock struts don't allow you to go that low, also I wanted to be able to to use the capability of the 32 Levels of Adjustment on the Megan LP series. I already have the coilovers and might as well use them.
I'm not sure how much this is all costing me yet but I will when I pick up my car.
Tim (alwayzspeedin) is doing something similar with his Teins. I'm waiting to see what he is doing for his setup.
