Coilover Question
Question, If i went Coils on my AWD GS, can I got stock height in the winter with my stocks? Do they make coils for the GS that would allow me to drive around at stock height. I wouldn't mind dealing with the wobble in Spring and Summer and just go back to stock setup in late fall, winter. I had NF's on my car for 2 years and recently went back to stock due to the wobble, just couldn't deal with it anymore. Thanks in advance.
when i had BC coils, there were plenty room to raise the car up.. imo, since the wobble is pretty much inevitable, i would look for coils to compensate for other reasons.. such as adjusting each corner for desired height and changing damper settings for your preference. if you ask me.. to raise it to the top, then to bring it back down and adjust each corner, it takes a lot of time and energy unless you have someone else to do it for you.
If you have coilovers, correct me if I'm wrong, you should not have to do an alignment for simply adjusting UP or Down.
When you INSTALL springs/coilvers, that's something else because you're taking components apart and using a lot of torque to install new parts.
If you had hit a lot of potholes/curbs over the course of a yr or two, that's also understandable.
