How much Camber is too much?
Yes I understand buying the lower control arms will cost about $500 to adjust camber.
Yes I understand OEM only adjusts toe in/out.
With that being said I wanted your opinion on how much camber is too much?
I'm slammed to the lowest setting, about 2.5in on coilovers atm.
Took the car to an inground allignment shop a few days ago. -2.5 degrees up front and -2.6L/-3.2R degress in the rear.
I'm thinking I may raise the car up another .5in just to offset some of this camber.
Suggestions?

Your car looks dropped about the same as my GS ( max drop on Tein CST....My old car may have been ever lower than yours) and the camber is going to eat your tires up. I used to replace tires for $1000 every 9 months. I am so tired of tire shops and dropping money just burn tires up and ruin the ride quality of my car. I would say any camber over factory specs is just going to destroy your tires. The GS is no feather weight so she will eat those tires . I think it may be a good idea to raise the car a .5" to get the specs into a more reasonable territory......then again reasonable is relative and subjective. LOL

btw you may want to switch your 255/30 in the front to 245/30 oin the front so you dont rub. I had some solid rubbing with 255/30 in the front when I was dropped. plus the 245/30 and 295/25 are a better match

he has my old set up and the fronts wont rub when slammed. His pic doesnt show how low the car currently is. Its at the lowest possible settings.
Ill dig and see if I have the specs for our car. What I recall was on the DF springs I was just with-in spec. So figure how much lower your car is now compared to the springs. Raising the car is not an option

it's too much when you think it's too much. i really don't think there is an answer. bottom line, camber will hurt the wear, but your tolerance, and maybe how much you can compensate with the toe setting, that's the key
I have the same problem but I have not lowered my car.....Yet but they say you don't really change it out but I really want to cause I think thats the reason I feel as though the car is off, does anyone know of a fix for this!
my tire shop actully flips my tires left to right every 3000-5000 miles... im pushing almost 18k miles on the same set of tires and i feel i can go another 8k with current tread depth... (Falken FK452's) the rears actully look like they have even wear

how much do you pay for them to remount the tires like that? On low profile 20's, most places either can't, won't for liability reasons or will charge $40-50 each wheel. Paying upwards to $200 is crazy to flip tires.

To much camber for me is when the wheel/tire looks out of place. The angle of the camber needs to match the angle of the fender or it just looks broken. That being said I love the flush look but Oni camber.....eh not so much. Cool to look at but not to drive.

you can do it,but its usually young hard core vip types that could care less about safty,much like the picture posted above where the camber is rediculous outa wack and drivin around on band aid stretched way to small tires.Braking, acceleration ,cornering all seriously compromised as well as tire wear. Most any performance tire is directional,when flipped and bald on the edges if ever caught driving in a thunder storm you are in serious trouble,they will hydroplane very easy with the channels reversed.
Gettin your car lowered and wheels slightly tucked and better high performance handling is one thing but this whole concept of riding on the edge of your tire with stupid camber to get even lower reminds me of the thugs with their pants 3x too big hanging off the bottom of their *** walking down the street walkin with thier legs far apart to keep their freakin pants from dropping to the ground..prolly the same retards...what will they come up with next...Maybe buying shoes or no its kicks now 3x the wrong size will be cool next? just makes no sense what so ever on a luxury performance car.
