Hey guys just wanted to get everyones thoughts on Megan coilovers how good are they? How's the ride quality and are they worth getting or should I shell out a little more and get something a little better any thoughts would be great thanks

 

i had them for a couple months..1st in the middle...2nd max stiff then max soft.. .. lets say.. your ride comfort is gone... still getting used to...these are my first coils so iono how others feel but i wish i spent more money on better ones if they provided me with better comfort

 

thanks for your input, i would like to keep the confort so maybe it will be worth spending a little more to keep that or maybe thinking of just going with a set of springs.

 

no matter what you do, when you lower a car you will not get the same ride comfort as stock. you can come close but it will not be the same.

 

Something to think about when you consider how much time you spend inside your car opposed to standing outside staring at it. :P

 

Just had my megan street-lp series coils installed this weekend and all I have to say is AWESOME! Total drop height is about an inch & a half and I have them set to 20 on the damper adjustment. Had them installed by a dude I found on craigslist that works from home that specializes on suspensions, it only took him a little over an hour to install all four and about another 25 min to adjust them to the height I wanted. Once installed I test drove it on the street and freeway and it rides perfect. A little stiffer than stock but nothing extreme. Road noise is almost the same and I have no vibration issues.
