Is it a basic install or do you have to mod car/springs? Does anybody know were i can purchase a set of springs in chicago?? Thank you for you help in advance

you can use any spring you want for the 3GS. The springs are the same, its just the front strut that makes the suspension different from the RWD to the AWD.

If you have done suspensions before, its a pretty basic install. Check the 3GS classified section. You'll probably find a good deal in there on springs.

Tanabe NF210 can get you lowered 1-1.5"

Tanabe DF210 can get you lowered 1.9" in front 1.6" in the rear. I have these for sale - $150 shipped. I had these on my 06 GS300 AWD before I went with coilovers.

not sure if you are aware, but there are no springs made exclusively for AWD gs model.. they are mostly for RWD, but to name a few, tanabe NF210, tein S-tech, Eibach prokit, F-sports.. roadmaget was actually designed and tested on the AWD platform, but i believe front is more than 1.5" drop.
