Different indeed. Don't get me wrong, I'm not disagreeing by any means. Just annoyed with wobble/shaking issue. I wish I could just slam the F out of my car.. hehe

Thinking back, I question myself why I bought an AWD....

^ I feel ur pain, I went sitting like this

To this

I love the way the GS rides and the fact that I can go places without thinking about what route to take and the ability to go over speed bumps but hate the wheel gap.

i'm curious to know on a scale of 1-5 (5 = being the the worst) how bad it really is? maybe people who are used to lowered cars might give it a 1 or 2 but people who never had a lowered car before will give it a 5? my old car had a stiffer suspension than my gs but it was tolerable for daily use.

I took my 07 350 AWD lowered on DF210 and rolling on staggered 20's into the dealership for service today, and when the tech drove it after the service he said the car drives like $h*t because of the vibrations/wobbles due to the rims being "out of round"...then i told them it kinda drives the same way with stocks

yes rwd will work however only on the rear of the car. the front has a C shaped part that screws into the bottom of the front strut to go around the axle where as the rwd fronts do not.

i have bc coils on my car and i love them. for the price you cant beat it. the vibrations are there but after a while you really get so use to it that it doesnt bother you anymore.

theres really no way for someone to determine this for someone else since its really subjective to the person. like you said someone who has had lowered cars can give it a 1 or a 2. i personally would say its about a 2 for me.

i think since i've had experience with lowered cars before it will not bother me as much so i think i will go for the BC coilovers once i have the funds.

yes and no. if you had lower cars before then you'll know what its like but the vibrations are completely different. ive also had lowered cars on coils and bags and this is the first car ive ever experienced this with.

But you are able to live with it I assume. Its not that bad to the point you would go back to stock suspension. I can sacrifice feel for look as long as its not constantly like driving on a gravel road.

O.K I did the calculator and the rim store told me 245/35/20 8.5 front and 275/30/20 10.0 in rear.

The rim calculator said I need 285 in the rear to be almost perfect?????
What do you think? Sorry but this is where I am doing my research. I used to live in chicago and now live in Indianapolis. When I go visit my family I usually end up topping out at 100mph + on I65N to chicago so I still need to be the beast of the highway as usual, so basically I cant be too out of controll with the setup plus I am getting fsports of tannabe's, so thats gonna be a stretch too.

With those tire specs you are going to be and inch over spec your speedo will be off. The sizes you need are 245/30-20 and 285/25-20 and then you will be right on with your factory diameter.

some people choose to go back to stock because they cant deal with it. to me it doesnt really bother me anymore. you only really get it between 0-15mph.
