I took my car in today to have the tein cst coilovers installed with the edfc. I showed up at 11:30 am , and the guy who was working on it told me that the car will need to be there over night. That surprised me. I didnt think the coilovers would be that extensive of an install. The tech told me it was the edfc that would take alot of extra time to run the wires cleanly and mount the box for the edfc. Needless to say I was pissed off
. I told the guy at the shop that this was crap, and that I would have to take a day off of work. I ended up just renting a car from enterprise to get my *** home. Kind of annoying. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience with coilover install with edfc. It is what it is! Yesterday was my birthday anyway so an extra day to chill seems kind of nice, but damn, what a pain in the ***

I will spend the afternoon tommorrow taking some pics. I will post them soon. Just wanted to vent . Thanks you guys

before i got my coilovers done.....the guy installing them asked me if i was going to get the EDFC module. i asked him for a quote. he quoted me 2 hours to install the coilovers and 2 hours for the EDFC! i never opted for the EDFC module.
again.....this is also in So*Cal where i regularly see an 80+ year old man driving around his lowered M5 Beemer!! Even senior citizens are modding their rides out here.

When I got mine I got my coilovers one day and my EDFC 6 months later!
Depending on how busy the shop is it could take a little over a day but it should take 2-4 hours but they could be busy and want to do it right!
My EDFC install took 2-3 hours while my coilover install took 1-2 hours!
