Default 450h Suspension

Does anyone know whether or not coil-overs/springs of the 3g gs430 will fit the 450h. I suspect that if there's any chance, the 430 and 450 suspensions would be more similar since they both have the sport/normal suspension select switch.

I think I'll contact the parts department to see if "by chance" stock spring part numbers on the two vehicles are the same. I doubt they will be, although that doesn't mean the two are not interchangeable.

Thanks,

I received an email today from tanabe in reference to this. Turns out that any GS spring will "fit", but of course the ride-height specs will not be accurate because of the weight differences. Tanabe does feel that the nf210 (highy speculative) has a high "probability" of working correctly on the GS450h.

I don't mind trying out a set on my 450h to see how they perform. The car is exceptionally smooth; I'm sure due in part to the additional 400lbs in relation to the 430 and 300 (300lbs heavier than awd). I can't imagine the ride quality changing drastically using the nf210 springs "unless" the 400lb increase causes the car to ride much lower than the df210 springs on the 430.

I'll repost once I've ordered, received, and installed the springs.

No. My contact is with Tanabe, and I don't believe they even make coil overs for the 3rd gen GS.
