Default Tein CS-T Coilovers... (Now have Pics!)

Just curious,

How many ppl are willing to pay 300-400 more for the Tein Comfort Sport Kit rather than the Super Street. I'm running the Super Street now and am considering the Comfort Sport.... Worth it?

I probably would, I never had Tien before, are these ones suppose to be a better ride. I'd ask how much installed from your shop but.... when are you gonna be authorized?

If TEIN makes them for AWD, I'll take a set.

I'd do it. I put NF210s on a few weeks ago but was just waiting for the CSs (or something similar) as a long-term choice.

I personally would pay the 300-400 for that extra amount of comfort.

Did anyone ever test coil-overs on the AWD? I just found that one main difference between the SS and CS-T is that the CS-T does not require using the factory upper mount. The CS-T has a built-in Upper Pillow Ball Mount so maybe it will work? It is also EDFC compatible.

You would waste your time and money experimenting if these coilovers would work for your car. The RWD front suspension is different. Particularly, the shock/strut design. On the Lexus technical drawing you can see the difference between the AWD and RWD suspension setup.

The AWD front shock/strut is designed to compensate for the front drive shafts. I have not tried it but I think the RWD spec'd front shock/struts would interfere with the front drive shafts.

Damn, why do they always leave us AWD folks out in the cold?

i regret getting the low end ss... i would definitely pay more... i hate the fact it doesn't come with the top bracket, etc... plus the ss are not made very well, so i've been told...

I'm getting them today!!! So tempted to put them on..... I'll post pics as soon as they're here... Curious to see how they differ from the SS since these are the new CS-T which are supposedly upgraded from the previous CS model...

Go for the CS Dave. If you are interested at all in retaining the "luxury" feel of the GS, the CS is the better choice over the SS.
