Default Yes you can lower AWDs

Well I finally returned home and can post a few pics of my AWD.The drop was done with Tanabe NF210s.I didn't want to ruin the ride or have bottoming issues so I orderd the NFs.I am glad I didn't get the DFs,the car dropped 2 3/16 inches in the front and 1 1/4 in the rear(perfect).I also made a change to the nose of the car.I hope this meets all of your approvals.

Looks good! You and I are the only one's. As for me, so far so good, no issues. How many miles have you accumulated with the setup?

That is a hell of a drop for the NF's, even more than my DF's. I thought the NF's only droped 1.3 inches? Is this because of the AWD that there is such a drop diference? The NF's dropped my car 2 inches and you seem to have gotten more out of yours.
Your car is now looking like it is at stock 300 or 430 height levels. GJ.

I only have about twenty miles on the setup with no issues and the ride is quite nice.
I did a before and after measure.
FR 28 11/16 after 26 5/16
FL 28 9/16 after 26 3/8
RR 27 11/16 after 26 5/16
RL 27 9/16 after 26 1/16

Oh ya ! my stock wheels are 3/16 of an inch taller than the Ziniks and Pirellis.I did the before with the stock but that is still 2 inches in the front and over an inch in the rear.
A before shot look at the gap.

Damn, that drop looks awesome! Those pics make me want to pull the trigger on the NF210's for my AWD now...

Did you bring it to the dealer to get them installed?

Just do it, It's all good! The dealer drove my car around for approx. 50 miles diagnosing rattles and they couldn't even tell if it was lowered. You'd be surprised how steep of a driveway you could go up or down of without angling and no scraping.

I did the install myself,it went fairly easy.My only problem was trying to put the rear springs on the front strut assembly(I didn't look at the small markings). After that it went smooth.I will bring it in for an alignment, mostly camber adjustment.

What do you guys think of the grill? It's a bad pic, I made it from stainless mesh and fit the upper inplace of the original. The lower is an overlay.

What is the offset of your rims? Usually springs lowered more after they are settled. Let's hope there is no rubbing.

Instead of "Attatching" photos to the post. Use our own Gallery and upload your photos here:
https://www.clublexus.com/gallery/uploadphoto.php

How to post multiple photos, see the link below. The method you are using is "Method A" as describ ed by Darden. The preferred method is "Method B".
