After posting the pictures with the new 20 inch wheels feedback was to lower it. I am not sure if the tire selection was too aggressive to be able to. You be the judge.

We put two adults in the rear seats and tested. We removed a little of the inside edge of the wheel well (Rear end) to avoid any possible rubbing. Offset change might have worked as well. I will get the exact offset and post it so others will know.

Definately lower it. Even with 2 people in the back seat that thing is still a 4 x 4.

With 20s and larger spec tires, the rubbing is usually with up/down motions at the fender tabs for both front and rear. In the front, there is additional issues with the top of the wheel well and fender tab when the wheels are turned. The wheel turn issue is worse when you are backing up since the tire is moving into the tab.

With all that said, I don't know how things behave on a 3GS. You are pretty much the pioneer (or guinea pig depending on you you view it ). I (as well as many other experienced guys on here) don't have enough data on the physical aspects of the 3GS to make a good call on rubbing and lowering.

I don't think you ever posted offsets and widths for your wheels either as these will also be determining factors to rub and lowering.

BTW - Have you found a way to lower the car? I'd be surprised to find someone already with lowering suspension for newly released car.

BTW2 - Where are you in CA? North or South?

LasVegasGS- Thanks for the chop. I am thinking 1.5 front and 1 in the back according to your pictures.

I am going to check into getting it done.
