Trying to change the stock bushings for aftermarket ones, I have found every part number except the bolt that threads the bushing to the frame (the one needing to be torqued to around 200ish nm?). Can anyone help?
Which lower control arm are you referring to? There is 2, the #1 arm is at a right angle and #2 is kind of am S shape and it attaches to the #1 arm and rhe bottom of the car. The one that bolts to the bottom the car can be tricky to prefer a new one and tricky to remove and replace. They increased the bushing size in 2001, and went from 60mm to 65mm. You can actually just replace the whole arm with the mewer, bigger one. If you’re looking to get the best handling possible then you want to replace all the rubber bushings with polyurethane. But if your just wanting to restore the ride and handling to how is felt new then i would suggest just buying replacement arms with the rubber bushings pre installed. It’ll make the job much easier and more affordable, and will still improve the car substantially.
