Default Coilover spring rates

I searched the forum pretty extensively and found some info here and there but wanted to get some more advice.

I'm leaning towards picking up a set of BC DS series coilovers with the Swift springs for my '17 GS350 F Sport AWD. I actually had the same coilover set on my ES350 before it was totaled. I have a baby so ride quality is still important for me. Didn't have any complaints from passengers (front or rear) for my ES on ride quality. I never really bottomed out. Tires would rub or OEM front lip would scrape but neither were too common. Spring rates on the ES were 7K front and 5K back which would be way too soft for a GS from why I've read. I've seen posters on here recommending 10-12K front and around 10k for the back because the ride would be too soft otherwise.

For anyone running on coilovers, what spring rates are you at and what have passengers said about the ride quality? For anyone who thought their spring rates were too soft, was this because you bottomed out, hate the way it rode, etc.?

I plan on lowering my GS to a similar height to my ES (pic below)
I also plan on downsizing the 19" wheels on my GS to 18's and running a 235/45R-18 tire.

Thanks in advance
