Hi this is my first post and I have an 01 Gs 300 and my steering rack is messed up would I be able to use one out of a gs430??

What does “messed up” mean?

The Concord (CA) Lexus dealer told me I needed a new rack a decade ago.

I investigated myself and it turns out that the car needs rack bushings. Lexus doesn’t sell these which is why they recommended a whole rack.
