Steering wander
Hello I have an issue with my is350. I bought the car for a very low price however the vehicle had been driven through a work zone where the 2 front rims were unusable and then in winter time it was run off the road where the radiator was cracked but replaced. Saying that I knew the risk, when we night the car it drove excellent, no shaking or steering wander, it could handle 85 mph easily and smoothly. I took the car on a 700 mile trip and very recently the car has started to wander when the road is uneven or the road tilts to one side. There’s no shaking, the car handles fine around turns and the steering isn’t stiff/ it centers when you turn the wheel. I have noticed the front 2 tires have some dry rot and they are in the cheap end of the spectrum. I don’t know where to start with this issue as I don’t want throw parts at it. Any suggestions as to what’s wrong?
start at the tires (replace them), then go from there.
i have not heard of bad lower ball joints on this gen IS but i recall when my LBJs were going out on my tacoma my steering wheel failed to center after every turn...then one day it popped out of its socket hitting a bump

Hello, I got the tire Tires replaced and it fixed the wandering issue. There’s still a little wander but I think it’s the Lower Control Arm Bushing as I haven’t installed the uprgraded part.
