Default Difference in Front Brake Pads for 3IS250

I got some R1 Concepts Geomet rotors coming soon but I didn't want to use their pads and decided to roll with Akebono pads instead, because it seems the general consensus here is they are the best. I want their performance pads, but I suppose their ProACT pads will suffice if this doesn't work out.

So here is the problem, I am having a nightmare of a time trying to figure out what front pads actually fit my car! I have a base 2015 IS250 RWD and none of the websites I visited (Lexus, RockAuto, Napa, Advance, you name it) are unable to give me a definite answer to my question. Or perhaps the answer is right under my nose and I am not seeing it, could be very likely.

There is always a discrepancy in the fitment between either AWD/RWD or the convertible/base models.

From what I gather, the F-Sport and base seem to use the same pads. It also seems that the AWD and RWD use the same pads. And it seems the convertible and base actually have different pads. Correct?

But when I try to find the right pads, one site tells me one thing and another tells me something different. So now I am up to my wits and I hope somebody in this community can help me out.

So for my Akebono users, will the ASP817B fit my 2015 IS250 RWD Base? If not, how about the ACT1178A?

Cheers All.

Of course! I had the exact same problem a few months back- just needed to look up my receipt.
