How Low is Everyone
I am thinking about raising my car back up an inch or so. Right now I think I am lowered close to 2.5 inches and it is becoming a real pain for me to drive anywhere without having to worry about dips and bumps and driveways. I can't even get out of my driveway in the moring without making some crazy manuver or just end up scraping the front end. The only thing why I wouldn't want to raise it is because I will then have wheel well gap and plus it looks better lowered.
So for me it is to keep it the way it is, or raise it and get some sways. How low is everyone else?

I'm mighty low too and it's a pain, but we have to suffer for our art.
Terry, where did you mount your EDFC? And did you do run the wiring, if not who did you have do it?

i put my edfc controller in the compartment below my deck...
tein gives you so much extra wiring...
i had to bundle them up and hide them behind the dash...
i think i had enough to go around the car once more...
it took about 2 hours to run and connect everything...
here's a side pic of my car at HIN last sat...
don't worry, i wasn't in the APC booth...

Lookin' good as usual. I need to wire up my EDFC and I'd like to check out your install at the next meet, I need all the help I can get.
How did you get the wires between the cab and the firewall?

Wow, 3" drops? Guys always say this, and I would need to measure it myself to believe it... These cars sit, what, 6" off the ground at their lowest point- so you guys have 3" clearance form the ground to your exhaust mid-pipes? I don't know how this could possibly work on a daily driven car! My car scrapes on speed bumps with the moderate drop I have!
Mine is down about 1.7 front/1.6" rear" from stock, and it has almost zero tire gap in the front. Some of the lowering effect was lost due to the larger diameter of the 20" wheels & tires, but the goal was to reduce the tire gap at the wheel well.
This reminds me of the first-generation MR2 guys (I have one as well)- they say "I have dropped my '88 Supercharged car 3 inches"... I know these cars sit about 5" off the ground (stock) at the lowest point. So, they have 2" ground clearance, and 1" of suspension travel in compression? Yikes!!

I have L-tune suspension, so I'm probably at about 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" drop. It's perfect for me, not too low and not 4x4 height. I can go over most driveways/bumps without having to worry too much about scratching. Still have to watch out for the parking blocks though.

I'm around 2.5"-2.8". I have 20's on with no bodykit. The rear is tucked and I have half finger gap in the front. It does get annoying some of the times but oh does it look good lowered. That is the price we have to pay to have that nice dropped look.

I have a LS, but I am super low at least 3 plus front and rear. But the rear is lower. The cars length makes it insanely hard to drive, but I have to sacrifice for the looks.

Cal law requires 22 inches from ground to middle of headlight, among other requirements i have forgotten. Keep in mind that if an officer decides to ticket you, he may give you 4 citations at the same time just for having your car lowered. Just a reminder.....
