Question brake comparison

rmm brakes and any other aftermarket brakes? I am looking for some solid upgrades. I don't track my car@ all. Curious if the rmm brakes would suit me as far as overall better braking than most cars on the road...well better than most cars without 14" stoptech's

This thread is really great, lots of info. If u don't track ,upgraded brakes are for mostly show. The GS stops in 112-116ft from 60-0, still in the top 10% of cars made. The brakes overheat though, so taking em to the track or say Deal's Gap, you can see and feel their weakness. Upgrades brakes offer much better fade resistance, that is their speciality.

From my understanding, RMM is the Supra TT upgrade sold as a RMM one. Let me double check

Correct. You can usually find the Supra TT (not rebadged) cheaper.

Hold that thought, fireball. I am currently investigating a source of a JDM 4-piston all aluminium kit that should be pretty manageable price wise. Give me a couple of weeks and let me test it out. PM me if you want further info.

Like Rominl said above. The stock LS430 calipers are all aluminium too and they cut the weight of the supra brakes by half! Now that's what I call some serious weight reduction. Like I said, give me a couple of weeks and test them out. I will write a full review when the time nears.
