Question semi-metallic vs. ceramic brake pads

Does anyone have any experience with ceramic brake pads? I'm trying to decide between Axxis Metal Masters and Axxis Ultimate Ceramic pads. A PowerSlot tech rep stated that the ceramic, while generating far less dust, would be more abrasive on the rotor, which I do not want (rather wash my wheels more often) Thanks all-

I have the semi-metallic pads. I haven't had any problems with brake dust and the rotors become so smooth ever since I had these pads on (less abrasion). But then again, I wash my car almost everyday.
