2004 GS 430 with 80,000 miles. Non dealer mechanic found faults C1251 and C1223. Topped off fluid, retested okay, cleared faults. Suggested replacing ABS hydraulic control unit (too expensive for this aged car). Half hour later light and chime back on, brakes working fine. Now chime on sporadically, light always on. RX threads suggested replacing Brake reservoir cap assembly. Car in good condition and was planning on selling car and now this. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.......Wife says not a chime, it's an alarm.
