Default RSR Downs... are they gonna work?????

I really need some input. I already bought a set of RSR Downs. I've got my new wheels and tires on, and I have been looking and thinking really hard. I'm running 19x8.5 +35 w/245/35 and 19x9.5 +45 w/275/30... The front, Im not worried about, but the rear looks like it may be a problem going to the downs. I know that over bumps, the top of the wheel will swing inward slightly, but I just want to be sure it will clear afterwards. Look at the pics and tell me what you guys think. stay with the downs, or sell/trade them for some half downs????? Please help.

You should be fine based on the specs.

The rear doesn't really camber as much as the front on compression tho, so that won't help too much.

You should be fine based on the specs. A 265/30 would have offered more clearance, but you should be ok with the 275.

I'm more worried about the wheel spokes than the tire. Not really sure how much wheel travel there is over bumps, and dont want the spoke taking a swipe at my fender.

From what i've seen tires are the real clearance problem. Wheels can go pretty wide, but wide wheels require wider tires unless you stretch.

With those specs, if your rim hit the fender then your suspension broke.
Even with the RSR Downs installed the suspension won't be able to compress far enough for the rim to hit anything. Keeping in mind I'm talking about the rim specs you gave.

Once again, I hope you are right... lol... Guess I will try to get them put on this week. Have them do the rear first, just in case... lol

You should be fine, it will camber slightly which will help as well.
