Default rsr half down measurements

install was by kevin from 168 motoring.....super nice guy go see him for your install I drove an hour just to get to his shop. I measured from the ground to the lip of the fender- on 18" wheels. front measured 26 1/2, rear 26 1/8. After the install front measured 26" and the rear 25 3/4" difference is -1/2" for the front and -3/8" for the rear. left pic stock right pic rsr half down......it's a mild drop.

my wife noticed it right away as I pulled into my driveway, being a typical guy I didn't tell her I was taking my car to have the springs installed, I told her the car came that way......she has her doubts.........my wife does'nt drive my car she has her own, most women are oblivious to subtle modifications, she did noticed my car sat a bit lower.....

first of all I went with the half downs because I wanted to stay close to factory geometry as possible, now that I'm reading people with lowered IS are blowing their end links for what ever reason. I really like the look and cant wait until I get my 19" wheels, as for the ride, I cant complain it's not as smooth as I thought it would be that's probably because they need time to settle in, I do feel the steering wheel a bit more responsive especially when cornering. I will re-evaluate the ride and re-measure in a couple weeks......I'm very happy with them......

Default measurements

2 weeks after the install the front measured from the ground to the lip of the fender 25 7/8 and the rear 25 5/8, based on my calculation it settled approximately 1/4" lower front and back, bringing the total drop for the front 3/4" and the rear 1/2" I also changed the dingy yellow fog lights for some 6K Leds. ordered mrr 19" tires and wheels should be here in about a week. there is approximatley a 2 finger gap from the top of the tire to the lip of the fender

I have heard that these may actually work on AWD, is this true? What is the reason they only work on RWD?
