Default Megan Strut Bar install issue for IS250 AWD?

I just got my Megan Strut bar for my 2012 IS250 AWD and noticed it doesn’t fit the way it was put together. Is this product not for the AWD model. I could switch sides, but not sure if that’s appropriate tho. Thanks for your help in advance.🤔

is it upside down? i.e. can you just rotate the mounts 180 degrees so the holes line up?

I think someone had the same issue a few months back. I can not recall the solution.

if I switch them, they seem to work, but the mount has a flat bottom or top. I don’t think it matters tho.

You should be alright the 3rd Gen IS. The mounting shows the flats facing the front of the engine.

Searching more pictures of the bar online. It's made to fit multiple Lexus platforms. The flat spot are for clearance purposes probably. Viewing another 3IS install the brackets were all backwards. One flat facing the firewall, and the other facing the engine. Can you make it work by rotating the brackets? To where both flat spots are in the same direction?

Mine is a second gen, but I'm sure that doesn't matter as well. I will flip them and it should work. The seller said the manufacturer probably put end on backwards. Thanks for all your help. I'll take pics when I put on, in the near future.

So did you ever get this sorted out? I read a review on Ebay where the guy also had an AWD. According to the review he had to cut, and weld to make it work. It doesn't say specifically what had to be welded to make it fit though.
