IS250 rear brakes, BBK replacement?
Hey CL, just thought I'd get some opinions on this.
As most of us know, our platform has a common rear caliper seizing issue with the pins. What I'd like to ask you guys for is your opinion on replacing the rear calipers entirely with something like the RR Racing rear BBK kit while leaving the front brakes stock.

So far my calipers haven't seized again since the last replacement, but I thought it'd be a good one and done solution. What I worry about is probably clearance for 17s and whether it'll really screw up my brake bias.

That is true. It seems like every time I grease the pins I get back that bitey response for a while and then I get the dead area in the pedal again, which sort of prompted me to look into upgrading it. I don't really need to upgrade the front since I don't track the car and it'll just add extra weight and not add any stopping power for a day to day use. I just want to "upgrade" the rear because of the bad design to make it more reliable
