Default 19x10 vs 19x10.5

In regards to stance and performance .. is there really any benefit of a 10.5" rear wheel over a 10" wheel on an IS300 without forced induction?

My calculations say that the extra .5" would be fine in the rear as long as the offset pushes that width to the body side and not to the fender. However, it doesn't seem to make much sense having the extra width on the inside if it's not going to increase the look of the lip or concave of the wheel.
