Front Brakes
New front brakes and resurfaced Rotors july of 2017 and now new pads (again) and new rotors needed after 12,500 Miles? My driving habits have not changed at all. Has anyone else had brake issues with the IS 300 F Sport?

Right now I'm at 20,000 miles and ready to install the third set of pads in a month or so. They're sitting in a box at home. I'm on rotor set #2. Its normal. The F sport is a fairly high wear car when it comes to front brakes.

Thanks for the response E46CT. This is my 3rd Lexus IS and I never had brake issues like this on the other 2, that's why its frustrating.

No problem. They are a high wear item but this is how Lexus competes with BMW. High performance typically means high wear. If you have some basic tools, you can do it yourself. I just did mine this weekend. stock pads are only $55 =)
