Default Fitting Kit and Shim Kit Needed?

I bought new rotors(OEM) and pads(Akebono) on my 3IS and was wondering is it necessary to replace the original shims and fitting kit?

Fitting kit should be reusable unless something has been damaged.
As for the shims, use the ones the new pads come with. If they don't come with any, then reuse the factory ones.
