Default What spacers are you guys using ?

Ok so I've done some research and I'm gonna end up getting RS-R super down springs.. gonna have to take the cheap route for now since I'm planning to move to South Florida in a few months. With that being said I love the look with the springs with spacers... however I can't find the right brand spacers to get.

I wanna do, 25mm front, 20mm rear. Need help finding spacers for the IS tho!

There are a lot of companies that make spacers. If you google search wheels spacers, you'll see just how many companies make them. The specs you need are:
5x114.3 Lug Pattern
60.1 Hub
12x1.5 Wheel Stud Thread

To be honest, I went on eBay and found generic brand T6 hardness aluminum spacers with Grade 8 wheels studs for a 1/4 of the price of H&R's. I've had H&R's in the past and they were great. I don't plan on running the spacers forever and incase I don't like the looks or just want to ditch them after 6 months, I didn't break the bank with the eBay specials.
Here are the 20mm I'm getting http://www.ebay.com/itm/191087611427
That company offers all sizes. I'm getting 20mm for the front and 15mm for the rear. I've read the "flush" is 25mm front and 20mm rear but I've also read that there is a possibility of some rubbing if lowered. I'm sure on RS*R Superdowns, you're going to have rubbing. I'm hoping that 20mm front and 15mm rear on RS*R Downs, I shouldn't have any rubbing even with a full vehicle of passengers.

I cant get a definitive answer as well! Most likely have to shave off in order to fit the 15mm. I'm currently running 20mm in the rear and it rubs in dips and etc with passengers. I also considered 18mm too!

I've had 15mm spacers from B2D and didn't have to shave the studs.

I am currently running H&R 25mm F 20mm R

You don't have to shave or trim the studs because the back side of the factory wheel is open. See the picture I've attached. The new wheels studs on the spacers will go through the normal opening (red arrows). The factory wheels studs will fill the void in the back of the wheel (red square). If you have after market wheels, this might not hold true.
I know H&R sells short studs that you can use to replace your factory studs. That will work if you have aftermarket wheels that have a flat backside.

Hope this helps ...

What are you lowered on? I've read through numerous spacer discussions and have seen differing accounts of rubbing w/ 20mm spacers in the rear.

get a set of low OFFSET wheel +25 or +35 offset, your wheel will flush out, Wheel Spacer Technically not safe in any driving condition. they also gives more pressure on bearing over a bump and that's not good.

I just ordered my 20mm front and 15mm rear. I should be putting them on this weekend if they come in on time. I'm keep my factory upgraded 18" wheels. In the next few weeks I'll be lowering on probably RS*R Downs.
