Default Chamber Kit. Do it or not ?

do not know much about cars but I have a 2008 Lexus IS250 with coilovers and my front tires are wearing from the inside. Should I install chamber kit ? Even worth it ?

it's a common problem with 2IS's. You'll need to get either the RR Racing USRS lca bushing or the FIGS lca bushing. As they'll explain and everyone else, there's dynamic toe change under braking with the stock bushings hence creating the inner tire wear. Else if you just mean your tires are showing camber wear because you are lowered then yes it wouldn't be a bad idea to extend the life of your tires. Personally I get good life out of my tires even at -1.5 to -2 degrees of camber so I haven't bothered.

First off, make sure your front pressure is always at the name plate value from the door for highway cars. For pure city or soccer/grocery getters, add 2 to 4 psi.

Next get the toe set to zero or maybe even 1/32" of toe in. The bottom line is the OEM LCAB (rear bushing) is soft and allows a good bit of tire scrub as it deflects. Replace them, do the actions above and keep an eye on the tires.

PS its camber vs chamber.

Check out the video at the bottom of this link to see the flex in the OEM LCA. This is why we're saying to upgrade to a stiff, aftermarket LCA bushing.

I have the same problem, but the tire wears out pretty evenly. I had inner tire wear before even lowering the car.

I too have this issue. 06 RWD IS250 18" Wheels. Everything is stock as possible. Car has had multiple alignments print out showed all green but my car had some slight drift to the right. and the rear right tire had the most amount of wear. On the inside of the tire with patches of steel showing. Lots of driving vibration. Less patches on the driver side. The Steel was showing on the insides and i didnt even notice because the outside looked ok with lots of tread depth.

Do you think the slightly negative camber is affecting the performance of the wheels to wear out prematurely?
Would it help to put on a adjustable rear camber kit? If so, what would be need ? Rear Camber Arms? ( I think stock is not adjustable) or would the lower control arms also be needed?
