Default Lower Ball Joint question

I have been doing some reading on here today about it being a good idea to preemptively replace the lower ball joints, and while mine are in great shape right now, it seems this would be a wise thing to prepare for. Any suggestions on "better than stock" options at a reasonable price? I'm not looking for full- on race suspension components, as this car is my daily, but I also like to have parts that will exceed anything I would need out of it. I'm currently on stock suspension, except for polyurethane sway bar bushings, but I'm fairly sure I'm going to put Tein street advance z coilovers on somewhere during the next couple of months.

I replaced mine with ACDelco lower ball joints a while ago and they've been great for over 10,000 miles so far on my lowered suspension. I'd buy them again.

Thanks for the input , Muffinizer. I've always associated ACD with GM, but if it works, it works. I will check them out when I start pulling all of that stuff apart.

Also, I've apparently forgotten how to spell check before posting, and cannot figure out how to fix where I misspelled the post title!

I installed the MOOG lower ball joints and found they were a little bit beefier than stock and had grease fittings on them which stock ones do not.

I have used Moog a lot in the past, but I've read that they have had issues with quality lately. How long have you had yours installed?

Around 2 years, they are the ones manufactured by 555 in japan though, maybe they have outsourced these to China like everything nowadays. I think you can get these straight from 555 though.

Good info. It looks like they can be had from fleabay too, and made in Japan.
