Mystery parts while replacing GS300 steering rack
Everything was going fine removing a leaky steering rack from a 2002 GS300. Then I found two small brass parts that appear to be something like carburetor jets sitting on the garage floor. They were on the driver's side, possibly near the pressure and return lines on the rack, the ones with the huge banjo fittings. The rebuilt rack came with two small o-rings. Help me solve this mystery, PLEASE! Do these jet things go inside the rack and the banjo bolts hold them in? Do the o-rings have something to do with that? I'm going to try to attach a picture so you can see what I'm talking about...
